Our Unique Range of Sample Bottles

Our popular range of AquaPlas is in routine use at most major water and environmental laboratories throughout the UK. A clear lightweight PET bottle with a leak-proof double walled cap, designed specifically for drinking water and environmental analysis. The AquaPlas Sample Range is manufactured and distributed exclusively by Aurora Scientific, a specialist scientific supplier in the UK.

Aurora Scientific have adopted an innovative approach to the development of a wide range of glass and plastic sampling containers used specifically for water, food and environmental analysis.

Aurora's own high quality production facility has gained them ISO 9001 approval, whilst their commitment to environmental issues has been recognised with the ISO 14001 stamp of approval.

Key Features

  •  Will Neutralise a Minimum of 5mg/Litre of Free Chlorine
  •  Reduces Sample Error
  •  18 Month Shelf Life
  •  Each Bottle Labelled, Batch Coded and Fully Traceable
  •  Irradiation Certificate Supplied
  •  Strong Robust Construction

Manufactured from odour free, lightweight, high grade food quality PET, the bottle's rectangular shape makes it robust and easy to handle - ideal for routine sampling and transportation, especially in areas where glass is prohibited, such as swimming pools and food production. Each treated bottle (containing sodium thiosulphate) will neutralise a minimum of 5mg/litre of free chlorine.

The AquaPlas Sample Range is economical because breakages are minimal due to its PET construction and its long shelf life provides efficient storage at the point of sampling.

A security label is applied at the neck stating Not Sterile if Broken, while the leak proof double walled cap protects the neck from incidental contamination during sampling.

Each bottle is identified with a Batch Code, Product Code, Expiry Date (18 months) and a Unique ID (for full traceability). Each batch is supplied with a Certificate of Irradiation and where appropriate, a Chlorine Neutralisation Test Certificate. All documentation is designed to comply with any accreditation requirements.

Every order can be customised to include specific requirements, for example, alternative cap colours, (red or white), printed labels and barcodes.
